The cost of broadcasting on KGBC AM-1540 is $1,200 per day, that's $36,000 per month.

After months of broadcasting quality Catholic programming in the Galveston-Houston area we are still seriously struggling financially.

We operate St. Maximilian Kolbe Radio under a very frugal budget, our employee salary cost is $1,000 per month for the Station Operator. All other operational duties are handled by volunteers.

Eternal Truth Broadcasting currently receives, from 324 monthly donors, an average of $4,800 to $5,500 per month in support of St. Maximilian Kolbe Radio. Our need is $36,000 each month.

St. Maximilian Kolbe Radio is totally dependent on our listeners.  We DO NOT receive monies from the Diocese nor do we sell radio commercial spots.

Many in the Catholic community are benefiting spiritually from this lay apostolate; we know this from the many emails, letters and phone calls we receive daily. 

Our listeners are witnessing the positive spiritual effects that Catholic radio is having on them and their families.

Moms and dads are better understanding their responsibilities as the first catechist for their children.

Husbands and wives are better understanding their responsibilities to each other and their marriage.

Many listeners tell us that they are more attentive and reverent at Mass, go to Confession on a more regular schedule, have deeper prayer lives and express a greater sense of appreciation for the Clergy (their Bishops and parish Priest) and the Catholic Church.

 

We could go on and on but, don't have the room on this website to tell you of the tremendous impact Catholic radio is having on all our listeners.

 

The Holy Spirit is truly working through the supporters of St. Maximilian Kolbe Radio. Their

generosity and sacrifice is bring Souls back to Christ and His Church.
